I am Denitra Barnes, Lead Planner and owner of Tailored for You! I believe every love story or life event deserves a one-of-a-kind celebration.
My passion for bringing people together started in childhood and is the foundation for everything I do.
Combining my certification as a Master Wedding Planner with a refined background in Human Resources and Project Management, I excel at blending creative visions with seamless logistics curating an unforgettable event.
My goal is simple: To create an authentic celebration that truly reflects you.
As an advocate and friend throughout the planning process, every detail is handled, from assembling the perfect vendor team, to maintaining your event budget and managing the day of timeline.
I truly believe in celebrating the unique heart of every client. Outside of designing dream weddings and events, you can find me reading up on the latest trends, exploring new venues or event locations, trying new restaurants, traveling, enjoying live concerts or spending time with family and friends.

She takes pride in staying one step ahead, ensuring every element is flawless before moving on. On the wedding day, she not only guarantees every detail is picture-perfect but also steps in seamlessly wherever she is needed. Collection pricing is based upon package details, client needs, required travel, wedding or event size, and complexity of the design. We also offer a la carte and add-on services, including budget management, RSVP tracking, reviewing vendor contracts, and more.
These a la cart services can also be combined with any of the Tailored Collections.
A travel fee will be applied if venue(s) are 30 miles from planner's office.
COLLECTION V: I Do!
The Elopement Special
Are you recently engaged, and you’re ready to tie the knot now! Do you want to cruise past the planning process for now and possibly celebrate with a party later? This collection is for you! Tailored for You has partnered with venues around the city that can accommodate your Elopement.
The contents of the package are firm. This local package can only be booked 30 days in advance, Booking date subject to availability.
